Hück Trot
The Donnelly Friends of the Library are very excited to announce the date for this year’s
annual Hück Trot. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 13th for this year’s race from
the Donnelly Library to Historic Roseberry and back. Last year we had over 150 runners
and we expect an even bigger turn out this year, so be sure to register as soon as possible
to secure your spot.
Last year the race took on a new meaning and was given a new heart as we trotted in
memory of Kerri and Jurgen Hawkins and we will be doing the same this year! The
proceeds raised from the Huck Trot will be used to help support the mission of The Donnelly
Friends of The Library. We will be purchasing books in honor of Kerri and Jurgen for both
the Donnelly Library and the McCall Library in their names. The proceeds will also help the
Donnelly Library with other high priority projects.
13th Annual Hückleberry Trot 5K Fun Run Registration
Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
Donnelly Public Library
Join us on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at the Donnelly Public Library (150 E. State Street) for the annual Hück Trot. Race whistle will be blown at 9am, with check-in to begin at 8am. The 5K (3.1 mile) course starts at Donnelly Public Library, 150 E. State Street, and will travel out to Historic Roseberry and back to the library.
Registration Deadlines: Register online today! Same day registration is also available from 8am – 8:30am the day of the race.
Registration Fees: Registration is $25.00 for ages 13 and over. Registration is $15.00 for ages 5-13. Anyone under 5 Trots for free!
Registration packets will be available at the Donnelly Library on Friday, August 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or race day at 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Raffle Tickets will be sold the day of the race for a drawing immediately following the last runner. We have some awesome raffle baskets this year. More information is soon to follow.
The first 125 race registrants will receive a tee-shirt and goody bag. Awards will be given to those who finish first in their age bracket.
All proceeds from the race will be presented to the Friends of Donnelly Library in memory of Kerri Ann Hawkins & Jürgen Hawkins. Kerri and Jurgen
