Wyoming (written by Annabelle Littlejohn Americorp)

1.Book List: EPIC Wyoming

2. Math:  “Wyoming is home to so much natural beauty. It is also rich in history and culture. The state symbols of Wyoming are an important part of both. To make it fun to learn, kids can play games to learn that the Indian Paintbrush is the state flower and the Cottonwood is the state tree. The Equality State has never been more interesting! Have fun learning about the state of Wyoming!! ” Check out Wyoming Learning Games from Learning Games For Kids.

3. Science

One of Wyoming biggest industries is mining. Play these games to understand all the hard work and the process that goes into them. https://www.crazygames.com/t/mining

4. Writing:

If you could pick a state dinosaur what would pick? What color would it be? Would it eat plants or meat?

5. Art

Color a dinosaur and make it look like your writing assignment. Here is some color pages to choose from. http://www.supercoloring.com/coloring-pages/dinosaurs

Bonus:

Miss Sherry actually graduated from high school in Wyoming.  Papa Library graduated from McCall Donnelly in 1969 just like Miss Sherry’s Papa before him, but Miss Sherry actually lived in Wyoming and graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyoming.
