Camp Recap Written by Annabelle Littlejohn.
Today we started out our day with making animals tracks in the mud and painting some wooden crafts.
“These are called finger pains, she says. My aunt gave them to me, but really, I’m too old for finger painting” – The One and Only Ivan.
We then finger painted on a canvas. The students used Legos to build the big top scene from The One and Only Ivan “Exit 8 Big Top Mall.”
They learned about animals that were extinct by playing a game similar to duck duck goose.
We took a break after lunch time from painting and reading and we went to Donnelly Elementary School park and played for a little bit. When we got back to the library we had some structured reading.
