We have officially wrapped up Summer Reading. We wrapped it up and went right into After-School Programming. We officially, kept Miss Annabelle on as a teacher right now. She has grown so much over the summer and is really blossoming. The CSLP Theme for the Summer was Tails and Tales or Tales and Tails, I could never remember right. Summer Reading certainly impacted what is popular at our Library.

Our theme for the summer was Tales and Tails and from the list you can see Tails books were the hit. We also had a major competition using brag tags and so that certainly played a part in our check outs over the summer.
One of my favorite reads wrapping up the summer was ‘Twas the Night Before Round-Up. I read this book at the Valley County Junior Fair and Rodeo when I had the honor of being the Rodeo Announcer.
As you can see from our list hotspots are very popular and so is the Oculus. Our Oculus is frequently checked out. Every child gets one free check out and then it is $5/ per circulation.
I also loved Joan Proctor, the Dragon Doctor.
