Our Dragon Reading Club has adopted a soldier this Christmas – Kenneth stationed in Korea! Along with at least one book and Christmas cards, we will be sending him goodies in a care package. We’ll pack it this Thursday and send it this Friday.
Items that CANNOT go in the care package:
- Unpacked food (unfortunately this includes homemade cookies/treats)
- Anything pressurized (spray cheese, deodorant/sunscreen/bug spray in pressurized cans, etc)
Items that CAN go in the care package:
- Soap (shampoo, body wash, etc)
- Toothpaste, toothbrush, floss
- Deodorant (travel-size)
- Lip balm
- Foot powder
- Baby wipes
- Sunscreen
- Hand sanitizer
- Lens cleaner
- Glasses cleaning cloths
- Decks of cards
- Puzzles
- Batteries
- Pencils
- Water flavoring packets
- Beef jerky
- Slim Jims
- Protein bars
- Gum
- Sunflower seeds
