Snow Day

The school has now been closed for three days. Looking outside it is hard to see an end to the snow in our near future.

Narnia a world where it is always winter and NEVER Christmas.

We have finished The Magician’s Nephew and are now working on The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe.

We took a break to enjoy the movie as well. In our home we try and write down 5 ways the book was better than the movie and 5 ways the movie is better than the book.

Today, we are going to make Turkish Delight and build a snow castle. By build a snow castle I mean: I am going to watch through the window while an 11 year old constructs something of snow.

Choosing the right book for your child during the storm is only a click away. We have two wonderful online options for your child’s reading.

The Idaho Digital Consortium and Epic can be found right here on our webpage.

Enjoy exploring Narnia. Hopefully, your snow days are magical.
