100 Books or 1000 minutes
In celebration of READ ACROSS AMERICA we are encouraging reading this month. We are having a Read-a-thon.
The goal is to read 100 Books or 1000 minutes and raise money for Junior Friends of The Donnelly Library while reading.
The Valley County Masons have donated 15 tablets to be given away. EVERY child who reads 100 books or 1000 minutes is entered into their class drawing. YES 3rd grade gets 2. Mrs. Stegner’s Class and Miss Campbell’s class are separate. 3rd grade reading is so important and so we are doubling down on 3rd grade and it will be 2 tablet per third grade classroom. 4 tablets for 3rd grade. HUGE Thank you to the Valley County Masons.
Pledge sheets can be picked up at The Donnelly Public Library. You can pledge students per book up to 100, per minute (by 10 minute increments) up to 100 which equals 1000 minutes. You may also pledge students a flat rate. 100% of the money goes to the Junior Friends of The Library.
If you choose to donate online we have set up a VENMO link. Please list your students name and say READ-A-THON in the purchase line.
The student who raises the most money will win $100 (sponsored by Junior Friends and The Donnelly Trading Post)
