DONNELLY LIBRARY READ-A-THON – The Donnelly Public Library held a Read-A-Thon during March to encourage reading. The program had more than 40 participants from Barbara R. Morgan Elementary School, Donnelly Elementary School, Crestline Academy and homeschoolers, of which 26 met the goal of reading 100 books or 1,000 minutes. The youths also collected pledges per book or per minute and had raised over $5,000 for the Junior Friends of the Library’s Summer Reading and the library’s Dragon Readers Club after-school program.
