It’s that time of year again –
DRAGON READERS READ-A-THON!
Through April 1st, we are encouraging students now more than ever to READ! READ! READ! and to get friends, neighbors, and family members (from parents to great-grandparents to second cousins, adoptive aunts, and step-uncles) to pledge money to the library in return for completed reading goals.
The student who raises the most money will win an Oculus!
Every student who reads 10 books / 100 minutes gets an entry into a drawing for a second Oculus.
Every dollar raised goes to Dragon Readers Club and scholarships for Camp Library. Every $100 raised gets the student who raised it another entry into the Oculus drawing.
Each student who makes the 100 book / 1,000 minutes goal will bring home a prize and wins a free week of Camp Library!
The classroom that raises the most money will get a party of their choice: a pizza party, doughnut party, taco party, etc.
Checks can be made out to the Friends of the Donnelly Library. For venmo, we have a QR code; put the child’s name as the subject line so we know who it’s for!
All reading must occur between March 1st-April 1st, and all money is due by April 5th.
You do NOT have to be a part of the After-School Program to participate.
