Penguins: Positive and Negative Space

www.calaacademy.org/webcams/penguins

Today,  Dragon Readers read Pierre Penguin.  The kids were encouraged to read penguin books.

Positive and Negative Space

Positive space refers to areas where the subject is positioned. Negative space is the area surrounding the subject. Or in other words, positive space is the main focus area whilst negative space is the background.

Each week Miss Annabelle teaches a new lesson.

Tomorrow learning continues on Positive and Negative space and our story will be Red is Best. Tomorrow the kids will be reading books about colors.

Correction on the registration forms for February:   We listed Monday/ Wednesday  and Tuesday / Thursday and that was simply to get an understanding as to A Day or B day.

Afterschool Program is Tuesday 3-5 and Wednesday 3-5  and sculpture building Fridays.
