Fall is here. The Tamaracks are beginning to change and the temperature is dropping. The cold mountain evenings remind us that winter is around the corner. Fall reminds us that it is a good time to cuddle up with a book. (Check out our Fall Reads section on our blog.) http://www.donnellylibrary.org
As the temperature drops things are getting heated up at the library. October is a busy month.

October 24-31st we are celebrating BAT WEEK. “Bats are amazing animals that are vital to the health of our environment and economy. Although we may not always see them, bats are hard at work all around the world each night- eating tons of insects, pollinating flowers, and spreading seeds that grow new plants and trees. ” We are launching our celebration off on October 22nd. After school at 3:00 P.M. the community is invited to join us for BAT books, BAT crafts, BAT snacks, BATS, BATS and more BATS.
Halloween We still have our Purple People Eater costumes and may pull them out for Halloween. Whatever we decide to be we will be here. October 31st 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. We will have hotdogs and s’mores around the fire and would love to have parents join us.
We give the best treats to our trick or treaters. FREE BOOKS!
