Kids Book Pick:
This is a wonderful book for kids that live here in Valley County. Sometimes this time of year we get discouraged because of the long winters. Ten Ways to Hear The Snow helps us be mindful and rediscover the beauty of the snow.
Adult Book Pick:
Virgin River by Robyn Carr
I know you tuned in to the Netflix series and cannot wait for the next season. Well, spoiler alert Miss Sherry has read to book #17 in this series and the sexy and delightful Jack Sheridan is still swooning us through out the series. I absolutely love this entire series. You do not have to read them chronologically. You can jump around if you choose. Each book has an independent storyline but the characters are woven throughout. I prefer the books over the series. The books have some characters that I love and I hope that eventually they get introduced into the Netflix series.
NEW at The Library:
Educating by Tara Westover’s mother. I recommend this book if you read Educated. LaRee Westover is not nearly the author that her daughter, Tara Westover is, but if you loved Educated you will find Educating an “educating” read.
Book to Screen:
If you have not yet watched Big Sky on ABC it is worth tuning in.
First, pick up the C.J. Box book called The Highway. I could not put it down. Big Sky is very well acted, the story line is great and the scenery throughout the show is wonderful. It is worth the read and the watch.
