Regular Board Meeting Minutes
- Call to Order @ 6:02 P.M.
Call to order Madame Chair Mary Stegner
Trustees present in Library: Mary Stegner, Camille Nelson, Susan Dorris, Lisa Andresen,
Jean Keese 6:15 P.M.
Others present: Director Sherry Scheline, Americorp Annabelle Littlejohn, Friends President Amanda Vrany, Guest Heather Larronde

- Approval of Agenda – LIsa A. motioned / Camille N. 2nd / all in favor /motion carried
- Consent Agenda
Reading, correcting, approving or disposing of minutes of previous meeting.
Change 5a to include internet and who can use and add that Chari emailed to challenged material. Change 7 to read immediately following Lisa A. motioned / Camille N. Second / Motion carried.
Reports of Officers
- Chair: Chair requested of Director to have report, minutes, and agenda in drive by Tuesday prior to the Trustee meeting.
- Treasurer- Discussed how we need to make several journal entries. Director needs to continue to organize finances to make it easier for Joann. Discussed that we under estimated on grants. We had estimated $25k. If we go over we will have to reopen the budget.
Other officers – no reports
- Director Report:
Accepted Katy’s letter as her resignation. Discussed she would be returning to work 2 weeks in October for coverage for Sherry and Sarah.
Discussed Yard maintenance and paying Cliff Scheline for reimbursement of gas, and equipment for yard maintenance.
Agreed to have Cece work with Garden Club, etc… on getting raised garden beds, etc… in the EL
Agreed to have Frost Property Management to remove the rose bushes and small tree and replant them in the back.
Summer Reading Program: Agreed that Summer Reading Program would run as follows:
Wednesdays beginning June 16th
8 A.M. -11:30 A.M. grades 4 and up (Kinetic Sculpture STEM)
12:00 – 2:00 SUMMER READING PROGRAM no attendance limits, FREE of charge
2:00 – 6:00 Farmers’ Market Storytime
It was also agreed that the Library would offer 3 Library Camps as follows:
June 28th-July 2
July 26th- July 30th
August 23rd- 27th
Cost of camp will be
Morning: 8-12 $20 / day or $60 / week
Afternoon 1-5 $20 / day or $60 / week
Full Day 8-5 $40 / day or $100 / week
Camp will be limited and first come first serve.
Trustees and Friends President discussed that Director would solicit scholarship money from Junior Friends of the Library for 16 scholarships. These scholarships will be for $100 each and will be assigned to the teachers at Donnelly Elementary and allotted 2 per classroom to be given out as they deem necessary. Additional scholarships on financial need can be sought from Friends of the Library, but will not be guaranteed.

- Policy and Procedure Review : Annual Review of Policies/Procedures and Employee Manual – ACTION Items
Discussed that we needed to revisit internal communications. Jean volunteered to help Mary
- Encroachment Letter
- Jean K. presented a letter regarding the property dispute. Chair to sign letter along with Director.
- Questions/comments from the public: Heather Larronde stated she enjoyed watching the process.
