Sarah’s book review this month is “Nothing To See Here,” but don’t be fooled! There ARE some things to see here and even some that you may have overlooked. |

Sarah Roach continues to run things smoothly in the Library. Sarah is wonderful at helping people curate reading lists. Stop in and ask her for suggestions. Sarah also writes a monthly blog post on what she is reading. Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson It always amazes me when coincidences occur. I just recently received a letter from a childhood friend whom I haven’t heard from for many years. She was writing not only to send me news of the death of a mutual friend but she also caught me up a bit on what’s going on in her life. What’s this got to do with Nothing to See Here? These fabulous folks recently donated $25,000 to our Building Expansion Fund. This generous donation came from their hard earned proceeds from the various activities they have hosted over the last few years. This brings us that much closer to our goal and dream of a larger library to better serve the Donnelly community. Thank you, Friends of the Donnelly Library! Miss Sherry and Sarah are returning to Egypt in March with 15 library patrons. Instead of simply offering travel classes, we are experiencing the world. Sarah planned several trips when she was a teacher and has now taken on the adventure as a librarian. Miss Sherry’s biggest passion besides reading is traveling. You can learn more about what Miss Sherry and Sarah are up to in the Director’s Corner on our blog. |
