DRC

May 7, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

4-H will have the BIGS and they will be talking plants and making seed bombs!

littles will be at the library with Mrs. Quakenbush.

Every Tuesday in May we will be talking to your kids about the importance of reading throughout the summer.

The “summer slide” occurs when young minds sit idle for three months, according to the ICfL. Research from the National Summer Learning Association shows that kids lose learning skills during the summer, both in reading and mathematics, and the children more likely to lose those skills are from lower-income families.

Many of our families, perhaps, even yourselves are at risk of slipping down the Summer Slide. We hope to really focus on Tuesdays on the importance of Summer Reading.
