Castra Verrucae

Castra Verrucae is “Camp Wart.” We have hosted 7 weeks of a Hogwarts inspired Camp Library and would like to invite the community to celebrate with us. The program was for 10-15 year olds. They have had an hour of Latin a day, participated in astronomy courses (including a dark sky sleep over because in Harry Potter, Astronomy is Wednesdays at midnight), mythology, herbology, potion making, and so much more. The evening starts at 6 and will consist of the kids giving guided tours of our Teepees, we then invite you to bring a Hogwarts inspired dish. You may also bring your own version of ButterBeer if you think you can out mix Sarah. We will have a Hogwarts styled feast and the students will share what they learned. We will show Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on the big screen. Please remember our library occupancy is only 16, so all events are held outside. The public is welcome to attend. We do ask that you bring a dish to share.
