Today we had a visit from one of our funders. The Idaho Out of School Network stopped by to check out our program. We could not do what we do with out the generous funding from ION, IDHW, ICFL, The Donnelly Trading Post, Friends of The Donnelly Library, and The City of Donnelly.
Today for Oceans of Possibilities we learned about SALT 🧂
We made an egg 🥚 float. We tested the difference between table salt, sea salt and rock salt (by tested, we mean taste.) We examined salt under the microscope 🔬 and the kids got to enjoy golden salt from Qumran by the Dead Sea which was brought back by Miss Sherry and Ms. Sarah when the went to Israel.
